clean4u Cleaning Terms & Conditions

EFFECTIVE AS AT 10TH april 2017, 10:42PM

Please find our company Terms & Conditions below that will relate directly to all our cleaning services provided and respective sales to our customers. Make sure you take time to peruse these at your own leisure, as they stand as the complete service agreement between The Customer and Clean4u Cleaning i.e. www.clean4u.net.au. Upon paying for one of clean4u Cleaning’s service/s, you will be firmly bound by these Terms & Conditions. Thank you.


Payment/s to Clean4u Cleaning

Upon commencing the service/s provided by clean4u Cleaning or affiliated service providers, all payments must be made online prior to the cleaning services being provided, or via cash at the job to the clean4u Cleaning employee.
Upon receiving your invoice via email and/or sms from clean4u Cleaning, you will have 7 days to make the payment from the job date on the invoice.
If no payment has been made within the designated time period, a $25 late payment fee will apply and clean4u Cleaning has the right to engage Debt Recovery Services, which may affect your credit history.

The Customer agrees to indemnify clean4u Cleaning for all legal costs (on a solicitor and own client or full indemnity basis, whichever is greater) and other expenses incurred by clean4u Cleaning in connection with a demand, action, or other proceeding (including mediation, out of court settlement or any action taken for recovery of debt from the Customer) arising out of a breach of these terms including the failure by the Customer to pay an amount by the due date.

Payments can be made via the following methods:

Cash or card payments ( debit) to be made directly to an Clean4u Cleaning service provider at the beginning of the service.
If any extra costs are engaged, these must also be made at the beginning or during the time of service/s.
All payments are to be cleared also or no service/s will begin.


7 Business Days Cooling Off Guarantee

Clean4u  Cleaning provided a 7 business days service guarantee, post job completion. Please lodge any issues with us as soon as possible. Our cleaners take photos of every property before and after, so please take this into account before submission. If there is an issue,clean4u Cleaning will rectify the issue at no additional cost. This will occur within 24-48 hours upon final confirmation of the issue between both parties (The Customer & clean4u Cleaning).

Before rectifications works commencing, the Customer is required to provide us with a clear list of works to complete via email or sms. This document must be issued by the Real Estate or Landlord in most cases, as they will be inspecting the property. Our scope of works does not cover dust settlement that occurs normally between time of service and reinspection. Note that accumulation of dust over time is considered normal and activities such as ‘open homes’ are likely to speed up this process.

clean4u Cleaning Quotations

For all quotes provided via our quote section at www.clean4u.net.au, estimated quotes are provided to The Customer without visiting the property at all. These estimated quotes are based on the average size for each type of property that are vacant without any rubbish, furniture or excessing cleaning needed. Therefore, these estimated quotes may be subject to change upon visiting the property for the first time to conduct cleaning services.

If the property is dirtier than mentioned in the quote or dirtier than normal, or if the property is considerably larger than expected, then these estimated quotes are subject to change. In these circumstances,clean4u Cleaning has the right to rebook/reschedule at a higher price (once confirmed with The Customer) and we may even cancel the booking altogether.

Works Outside The Normal Scope

For works that are outside the normal scope, additional charges will apply. These works are charged out at $50.00 per hour, per employee of clean4u Cleaning that is needed at the job.
Cause of these works outside of the normal scope are:

A. Property that has not been regularly cleaned or properties that are in below average condition, hence are not regular jobs and will take a considerably longer time to finish.
B. Property that has had 1+ children and or pets/animals in the tenancy.
C. Property with above average wear and tear.
D. Above average properties with 5+ bedrooms, 3+ bathrooms + numerous living areas.
E. Issues with gathering keys for the property from The Customer or Real Estate Agency.
F. Issues with entering the property to conduct works.
G. Heavy equipment for abnormal jobs to be carried up and down stairs for properties that are on 3+ levels.
H. Furniture is required to be moved that prolongs the job at hand.
I. Parking for clean4u Cleaning is to be provided via car park/s attached to each property or parking charges will be passed on.

Service 1 Bond Cleaning

Our Bond Cleaning services for unfurnished properties do not include any of below, unless agreed to at an extra cost between The Customer and clean4u Cleaning:

A. The washing of walls…
That being said, clean4u Cleaning will check all walls and remove light marks where necessary, but heavy or above average marks or stains can be cleaned for an extra cost. This will be discussed with The Customer and clean4u Cleaning, and confirmed via written notice by SMS or email, prior to the job being attended to. If clean4u Cleaning cannot do the job at hand, we may refer it onto another company.

B. The washing or wiping down of curtains and or blinds…
That being said, clean4u Cleaning will check all curtains and or blinds, and dust them down only. Heavy or above average marks or stains on curtains and or blinds can be cleaned for an extra cost. This will be discussed with The Customer and clean4u Cleaning, and confirmed via written notice by SMS or email, prior to the job being attended to. If clean4u Cleaning cannot do the job at hand, we may refer it onto another company.

C. Furniture cleaning of any sort.
D. The removal of rubbish
E. Ceiling/s
F. Grout cleaning/s
G. Garage door/s
H. Gardening or any sort of yard maintenance
I. Any external cleaning of the property or internal cleaning that requires the use of a high-pressure device.
J. The cleaning of whitegoods remaining in the property.
K. Damages to the property. clean4u Cleaning can discuss these jobs with The Customer via our handyman services at an extra cost via SMS or email.

Our Bond Cleaning services for furnished properties are shown here. If clean4u Cleaning is providing a bond clean at a property where furniture is to remain, then basic wiping of these items is to be conducted by clean4u Cleaning. We will not clean any kitchenware that remains in the property and we will not clean any items in bedrooms that act as covers for furniture (e.g. sheets, pillow covers and so on). Please make sure you attend to these prior to clean4u Cleaning coming into the property. Also, remember all our employees take before and after photos of the property to make sure that our job is done right in the first instance.

Service 2 General Cleaning

In relation to general cleaning, please make sure that rubbish is tidied up and the property is accessible with respect to placement of furniture and so on.

Our General Cleaning services do not include any of below, unless agreed to at an extra cost between The Customer and clean4u Cleaning, and confirmed via written notice by SMS or email, prior to the job being attended to or at the job if need be. If clean4u Cleaning cannot do the job at hand, we may refer it onto another company.

A. The washing of walls. Heavy or above average marks or stains can be cleaned for an extra cost.
B. The washing or wiping down of curtains and or blinds. Heavy or above average marks or stains can be cleaned for an extra cost.

C. Furniture cleaning of any sort.
E. Ceiling/s
F. Grout cleaning/s
G. Garage door/s
H. Gardening or any sort of yard maintenance.
I. Any external cleaning of the property or internal cleaning that requires the use of a high-pressure device.
J. The cleaning of whitegoods.
K. Damages to the property. clean4u Cleaning can discuss these jobs with The Customer via our handyman services at an extra cost via SMS or email.
L. We will not clean any kitchenware unless it has been arranged.
M. We will not clean any items in bedrooms that act as covers for furniture (e.g. sheets, pillow covers and so on).
N. No laundry is to be attended to.

Please remember all our employees take before and after photos of the property to make sure that our job is done right in the first instance.

Service 3 Carpet Cleaning

With respect to carpet cleaning services, clean4u Cleaning may outsource an affiliated service provider. All issues relating to carpet cleaning will be sorted through clean4u Cleaning as we are the final provider of the service, but delays may be incurred due to the use of another company for these services.
Across the board, carpet cleaning will remove all surface based inferiorities with the carpets, e.g. dust, dirt, light liquid spills and similar items. If your carpet is dirtier than normal, extra charges may be incurred by The Customer. Carpets can differ by vast degrees between properties, as there are many variables that must be considered once they have been cleaned. For example, some marks may become more prominent and hence come to the surface of the carpet, because of the carpet cleaning, and some marks may not be able to be removed at all. We therefore cannot guarantee the carpets to be ‘as new’ without any marks or defects due to its age, wear and tear, stains and so on, contributing to its overall look.

clean4u Cleaning and our carpet cleaning associates will try our best and can refer you to extra services if they are to be needed at any instance to make sure the carpet is to be restored to its condition as per your entry condition report so the job is done fully when real estate agents are inspecting the property.

Service 4 Pest Control and / or Flea Treatment

Pest Control and / or Flea Treatment of properties will be provided by clean4u Cleaning or affiliated service providers. We hold no liability if this is not done on time, BUT it will be done if you have selected it in your qoute.

Cancelling and / or Rescheduling of Service/s

With respect to the cancellation and or the rescheduling of services, 48 hours’ notice must be given. Please make sure you contact us as soon as this arises, so we can sort it out immediately. We would really appreciate this and it will save you from encountering the fees listed below.
If you do not give us 2 days’ notice, then a cancellation fee of $100 is enforceable.

This also applies to if one of our employees, contractors or referred service providers cannot enter the property due to restricted access on the day that the service/s is to be provided. The $100 fee in this case is related to our minimal call out fee and covers for travel costs and so on.

If one of our employees, contractors or referred service providers arrive at the property and cannot begin at the designated start time within 10 minutes, then we must cancel and or reschedule the job, thus the $100 fee is to be applied in this circumstance also.

Once again, we would advise giving us as much notice as possible.

Health & Safety Pointers

Upon entering the property, clean4u Cleaning employees will run through the property in its entirety, to make sure that they can carry out their services in a safe manner.
Upon the discretion of the employee, a job may be cancelled or rescheduled if it is not deemed safe. If clean4u Cleaning is unable to attend to the job safely in its entirety, then a refund of some sort (minus a call out fee of $50) is to be agreed to upon between The Customer and clean4u Cleaning.


Damages Incurred By clean4u Cleaning Or Affiliated Service Providers

Whilst clean4u Cleaning or affiliated service providers are at properties conducting services, things tend to happen that are out of our control. If any items are damaged at the property, The Customer will be notified of all incidents and clean4u Cleaning will not be held liable for any incident. Please make sure you double check all furniture at the property and take your own pictures and provide them to clean4u Cleaning before we attend to services if necessary. Our employees will take photos also for incidents like this.

Changes To This Agreement

clean4u Cleaning reserves the right to update or modify these terms &conditions at any time without prior notice, and may do so by publishing an updated agreement on its website. Each updated agreement will take effect 12 hours after it has been published on the website. The Customer agrees that any use of the Service following any such change, whether as a single job or as part of a regular cleaning schedule, constitutes their agreement to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions as changed.

What kind of guarantee do you offer?

At Clean4u Services, We guarantee our all work , Bond clean & Exit clean , spring clean, regular clean, moving in & out.  we clean your home 100% and you are not 100% satisfied, please call back anytime  the following business day and we will discuss the situation and if needed, return to your home to re-clean the area free of charge. No refunds are given.

For One Time and Move-In/Out Cleanings, we may need to charge additionally if we send the crew back out to clean more areas of your home.

How do you charge for your services?

Spring clean , one time and Move in & out Cleanings are  hourly and we can give you an estimate based on the size  and condition of your home.

Normally, First time cleanings are priced a little higher depending on the  condition and size  of your house.

Regular Home Cleanings

In order to give a Quote for time and pricing for our service we require onsite quote to see the size and condition of your house.

What hours do you clean? Can I choose the day of my cleaning?

Monday to Sunday. we are working 7days.

We try our best to accommodate your preference in days. We do not  guarantee a cleaning time on your specific cleaning day AS some time Our clients may request additional services (such as window cleaning , sower room cleaning or oven cleaning). If you prefer a morning or afternoon , please let us know when scheduling your services.

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept CASH or EFT

If you plan on using us regularly, you can leave your payment in the kitchen or whatever you want . our cleaner will pick it up and leave  a receipt for you.

Do you charge a late cancelation or lockout fee?

No. However We require a 48hrs business days notice to make a change or cancel a cleaning.

Is Clean4u Services a franchise?

No, Clean4u services is a local family company owned and operated. Because we are locally owned, our prices are competitive and we are able to be more flexible to meet your personalized needs.

Who provides the cleaning products and equipment?

We provide all the products and supplies needed to clean your home. However, If you would like to use your own mop and vacuum for hygiene reasons  Please let us know.

What if something gets damaged during the cleaning process?

our cleaner  is required to touch virtually everything in your home. We are as careful as possible; however, if something does get damaged while cleaning your home.

Don’t worry !

you can have peace of mind as all cleaner are required  own Public Liability Insurance.

Can I leave a key? as we are working.

Most of our customers are not home when we arrive to clean. However, if you choose to be home while we clean that is not a problem for us.

Can I leave a note for the team?

Yes, It will be very helpful .

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, we do! They make wonderful gifts. They have been used for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Christmas, and Valentine’s Day just to name a few. They are available in any denomination with a one hour minimum. We can send them to you or the recipient.

Do I need to do anything before you come to clean?

Before we come, it would be appreciated if items were picked up off the floor and dressers and counters were not piled with too much clutter. This allows the cleaning people to clean more thoroughly. We do not wash dishes; however, if the dishwasher is unloaded we would be happy to place any dirty dishes in the dishwasher. We also ask in the summer months if you could set your air conditioner at an appropriate temperature. If for some reason you do not want a particular room cleaned, please call the office before your scheduled cleaning and we will honor that request.

How can I receive a FREE $100 cash ?

We offer a free $100 cash . know that a great deal of our business comes from referrals. To thank our current clients for referring us to their friends, we offer a free $100 cash for client we are provided. Just be sure that they mention your name when they call!

What if I have a pet?

Pets are not a problem. But we do need to know if you have them and we would like to have the names for reference. Also, if any pet is aggressive we ask that you secure them while we are cleaning your home. If they are friendly we will happy to clean around them.
